In 2017, around 40 autonomous copies of the BMW 7 Series will circulate on the roads of the USA and Europe.

In July last year, BMW partnered with Intel and Mobileye to develop autonomous driving technologies. This partnership will bear fruit this year as the Munich brand prepares to test around 40 completely autonomous BMW 7 Series models.

The announcement was made in Las Vegas, at the last edition of the Consumer Electronics Show, where the German brand exhibited part of this technology in a BMW 5 Series (in the images). Now, the BMW 7 Series fleet is taking to the road with the aim of collecting information in real conditions.
