With the introduction of the Lamborghini Aventador S in Geneva, we became acquainted with the successor of the Aventador SV, which thus reaches the end of production at the historic Sant’Agata Bolognese factory.
The last copy of the Aventador SV out of this factory is therefore a special model, and was delivered to a Scottish customer at Lamborghini Edinburgh. With 34 available body colors, this customer's choice fell on a color out of the catalogue: the Porsche 918 Liquid Metal Blue. That's right, the silver and metallic tones of the German sports car.
Like the other examples, this Lamborghini Aventador SV has 750 hp of power, enough for a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h.
This very special request was only accepted due to the fact that both brands belong to the Volkswagen Group, but it still required a lot of «gymnastics» on the part of Lamborghini. This color requires a special application process, with several layers, and – at the customer's request – the exposed elements in carbon fiber have also been painted.
In addition to the more than 400,000 euros that this Aventador SV will have cost, Lamborghini added an additional 60,000 euros to the bill. Worth it? Likes are not discussed...
