The new Peugeot 308 has already been tested and approved by Razão Automóvel, but this time, it was the turn of 12 fans of the French brand and 4 European bloggers to test the capabilities of this new “lion” of the C-segment.
Each of the guests had the right to test the new Peugeot 308 for three hours, but the real challenge was to be able to describe this experience in as much detail as possible in just eight minutes – hence the name of this creative initiative is 3:08.
No easy task for these 16 participants was foreseen, as we are facing a completely renovated Peugeot 308. From the new platform (EMP2) that made this 308 the lightest car in the segment, through the exterior design that is extremely elegant and efficient, to the «clean» and innovative on-board environment, all participants had plenty to talk about.
For those who don't know, the new 308 is 140 kg lighter than its predecessor, which in itself already suggests improvements in performance and consumption. But in addition to the weight reduction, this one is even shorter, wider and has a longer wheelbase than the previous version. If to all this we add the optimized range of engines that Peugeot offers, then we have a car capable of placing itself at the center of the premium and competing with the leaders in the segment.
