Automobile Apocalypse: Russians create Ipad application for remote driving

Anonim

Another step taken towards automobile chaos on Russian roads. Car driven via Ipad.

There's at least one thing the Russians are really good at: driving poorly. Nobody beats them for the art of bad driving. The car industry could not spend millions on "crash-test", it was cheaper to give them the cars to hand. Sooner rather than later accidents would happen. Over and over again consecutively.

And if with themselves inside the vehicle, awareness is already something that does not help them, imagine with a car driven via the Ipad. It would be the "Grand Theft Auto" of real life. A kind of Automobile Apocalypse.

Joking apart. Real 'remote-guided' cars are not an absolute novelty, but the ingenuity of these Russians who, with very limited resources, developed an application for the Ipad that, thanks to servos mounted on an old Opel Vectra, allows it to be remotely guided, is not unremarkable. Now it's just hope that the use is restricted to little walks in the backyard...
