The Formula 1 championship looks set to be discussed by the Mercedes of Hamilton and Rosberg. Accident between Gutierrez and Maldonado mark the Bahrain GP.
Once again, it was the Mercedes single-seaters that stood out from the rest of the platoon. After the Safety Car left the track, due to the ostentatious accident between Esteban Gutierrez and Pastor Maldonado, the Mercedes duo said "goodbye" to the rest of the squad and concentrated on a duel that would last until the checkered flag. The victory ended up smiling to the English Lewis Hamilton, thus achieving his 2nd victory of the season.
Sergio Pérez achieved a fantastic 3rd place – and the second podium in Force India history – finishing ahead of Daniel Ricciardo who was the best among the Red Bulls. Remember that the pilot started from 13th position due to the penalty given to him in the Malaysia GP. Fifth place for Nico Hulkenberg, confirming the excellent form of the Force India single-seaters.
Who continues to not find solutions to return to victories is Ferrari, with the two single-seaters closing the top-10, with no arguments to beat the two Williams cars.
