C1 Learn & Drive Trophy. After all, how much does it cost to participate?

Anonim

With the start of C1 Learn & Drive Trophy Just outside the door (the first race is scheduled for April 24), today we remember how much it costs to participate in this trophy, which is now in its third year.

The calculations were made by MotorSponsor, the promoter of the trophy, which in a set of four videos shows us the average cost of acquiring the Citroën C1, registration in the competitions, assistance and everything that is necessary to compete.

The first video is dedicated to the cost of acquiring the C1 already prepared, the only way to race, as the kits for transforming the C1 into a “racing car” have already been sold out. In this we learn that, on average and depending on the condition of the car, the values vary between 7000 and 8500 euros.

And the equipment?

Of course, buying a Citroën C1 is not enough to race for the trophy. Another investment that aspiring pilots can count on involves the equipment to be acquired and the sports license.

The value of the license, Nacional B with the respective mandatory insurance, amounts to 210 euros. The equipment (suit, helmet, Hans system, etc.) sees the price depending on where it is purchased, as we can see in the second video.

Ready for the races

In the third video we are aware of the costs of revisions, assistance, transport, tires, fuel and, of course, registration for the tests.

Starting with the revisions, on average these cost 322.50 euros (53.75 euros/driver in a team of six elements); as for assistance (which can be simpler or more complete), this sees the average value stay at 1625 euros (270.83 euros/pilot).

Transport, on the other hand, sees its value being influenced, for example, by the distance to the circuit. However, on average around 200 euros (33.33 euros/driver). Tires cost 495 euros (82.50 euros/driver) and fuel 287.50 euros (47.92 euros/driver).

Finally, registration for the competitions costs 1500 euros, with the value for each driver being fixed at 250 euros in a team with six elements.

In total, the amount each driver pays for a race weekend is around 950 euros.

The "other way"

Finally, there is a way to “work around” all these costs. To do so, just compete in the 2nd edition of the C1 Academy Razão Automóvel and obtain the best overall rating among the 14 finalists.
