Polestar 2. We've already been with the Tesla Model 3 rival in Geneva

Anonim

the long awaited Polestar 2 , the competitor of the Tesla Model 3 coming from Sweden, had already been revealed last week in an exclusively online presentation (for environmental reasons). Now, finally, we've been able to see him live at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

Developed based on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform, Polestar 2 uses two electric motors that charge 408 hp and 660 Nm of torque , allowing Polestar's second model to meet the 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5s.

Powering these two engines is a 78 kWh battery of capacity consisting of 27 modules. This appears integrated in the lower part of Polestar 2 and offers you a autonomy of about 500 km.

Technology is not lacking

As you would expect, Polestar 2 bets heavily on the technological component, being one of the first cars in the world to have an entertainment system made available through Android and which presents benefits such as Google's services (Google Assistant, Google Maps, support for electric vehicles and also the Google Play Store).

Polestar 2

Visually, the Polestar 2 does not hide its connection to the Volvo Concept 40.2 prototype, known in 2016, nor to the crossover concept, appearing with a generous height to the ground. Inside, the atmosphere was “seeking inspiration” to the themes we find in today's Volvos.
