1- Virtual Cockpit
The Audi Virtual Cockpit is the novelty that stands out right from the inside of the new Audi A3. Replacing the traditional quadrant is a 12.3-inch TFT screen, which gives the driver the ability to switch between two viewing modes. All this without taking your hands off the wheel.2- Matrix LED headlights
Equipped as standard with xenon plus headlamps, the new Audi A3 can also be fitted with the latest Audi technology in terms of lighting. When combined with the MMI navigation plus system, these headlamps move just before the driver turns the steering wheel, describing turns in advance.
3- Audi Smartphone Interface
The new Audi A3 now features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This system can be combined with the Audi phone box, which allows induction charging and near-field coupling on devices that support this technology.4- Audi Connect
The Audi Connect system offers several services, transmitted via 4G. These include navigation with Google Earth, Google Street View, real-time traffic information and search for available car parks.
5- Renewed Infotainment System
In addition to the MMI radio plus, available as standard on the new Audi A3 with 8 speakers, SD card reader, AUX input, Bluetooth and voice control for the radio and smartphone, there are other new additions such as a new 7-inch retractable screen with a 800×480 resolution, also available as standard. At the top of the news is also the MMI navigation plus which includes a 4G module with Wi-Fi hotspot, 10Gb flash memory and DVD player.
6- Audi pre sense
Audi pre sense anticipates collision situations, with vehicles or pedestrians, warning the driver. The system can even initiate braking, being able to, at the limit, prevent a collision.7- Audi Active Lane Assist
If you don't use the “blink” this system, available from 65 km/h, will try to keep you on the limits of the road through a slight movement in the steering wheel and/or a vibration in the steering wheel. You can configure it to act before or after the car crosses the limits of the lane or road you are driving.
8- Transit Assistant
It works up to 65 km/h and works in conjunction with the Audi adaptive cruise control (ACC) which includes the Stop&Go function. This system keeps the new Audi A3 at a safe distance from the vehicle in front and, when combined with the S tronic dual-clutch gearbox, makes it possible to tackle the “stop-start” completely autonomously. If the road has well-defined lanes, the system also temporarily takes over the direction. The new Audi A3 also received a traffic sign recognition camera.
9- Emergency assistant
A system that initiates a deceleration to completely immobilize the car, if it is not detected, despite the warnings it issues, a reaction of the driver while driving in front of an obstacle.10- Parking exit assistant
Are you backing your car out of the garage or upright parking lot and have poor visibility? No problem. This assistant on the new Audi A3 will warn you that there is a car approaching.
