In the case of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 10.6s were enough , a value of respect. To give some context, it's faster than the current Honda NSX (10.9s) and not far from the Tesla Model S P100D (10.2s). The Bugatti Veyron (1000 hp) did 9.9s… in 2006.
