As the popular saying goes, those who wait, despair. Therefore, Ford created this configuration kit for the Ford GT, which replaces the traditional online configuration.
The first Ford GTs have already started coming off the production lines at the factory in Ontario, Canada, but until they are delivered to the “lucky” 500 who will be able to buy them, Ford Performance has created an exclusive order kit.This kit allows each customer to physically configure every aspect of their new Ford GT, from the exterior paint color to the options for wheels, caliper colors, interior trim or racing stripes. To do this, the American brand has developed small-scale parts for each kit, using the same materials used in the car, including Alcantara leather, carbon fiber and even a clasp identical to that found on the Ford GT in competition.

The order kit has a concave space near the clasp where owners can place a replica VIN plate that matches their own Ford GT. Later, a replica of the plaque will be made and sent to each new owner.
