BMW continues the process of electrifying its range. After the launch of the X5 and the presentation of the Serie 2 Active Tourer in plug-in hybrid versions, this technology finally arrives in the Series 3 range. The premise is the same as always: low consumption and above-average performance.

Equipped with a 2.0 hp four-cylinder petrol engine with 184 hp, assisted by an electric motor of 88 hp, the BMW 330e develops a total power of 252 hp and a maximum torque of 420 Nm. of an eight-speed automatic transmission.

With the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and with a top speed of 225 km/h, consumption is between 1.9 and 2.1 l/100km – official data of the brand. The range of the BMW 330e plug-in hybrid in 100% electric mode is 40 km, rising to 600 km when combined with the combustion engine. The presentation is scheduled for the Frankfurt Motor Show. No dates have yet been announced for the start of its marketing.
