How to give more muscle to the Volkswagen Arteon? Simple, the interns are asked

Volkswagen Australia decided to put its interns to the test and the result was a arteon with a lot more muscle. The brand's young apprentices got down to work and prepared the German model for the “World Time Attack Challenge” to be held in Sydney.

The challenge was simple: the team of interns had a week to transform the four-door “coupé” into a car capable of chasing records on the track. As a base, they had an Arteon equipped with a 2.0 TSI engine and all-wheel drive that runs, as standard, 280 hp and 350 Nm of torque.

Although the slow series Arteon cannot be considered — 0 at 100 km/h in 5.6s —, the services it offered were below what was desired by the brand's interns. That's why they increased its potency for the 482 hp , torque to 600 Nm and Volkswagen reduced the time from 0 to 100 km/h to 3.9s.

Overseas Volkswagen started to show a showy painting done by the Australian artist Simon Murray (also known as KADE). Inside, the equipment that characterizes the top version of the Volkswagen model gave way to competition seats and a rollbar, having disappeared everything that added ballast to the ART3on.
