Cold Start. It's 1927 again… Bugatti Type 35B deep in Goodwood

We recently got to know the Bugatti Centodieci (110 in Italian), which not only pays homage to the EB110, but also evokes the brand's 110th anniversary this year. It's been 110 years old, and even though, for decades, the brand has been gone, the myth hasn't. And this myth owes a lot to the Bugatti Type 35 and the achievements he has achieved.

The Bugatti Type 35 (1924-1931) is simply the competition car that has achieved the most victories in motorsport history. There are more than 2000 victories registered , including all of its iterations.

And the Type 35B, as we can see in the video, was its last evolution, the most powerful of the Type 35, equipped with a eight cylinders in line (yes, eight in a row, you read that correctly) with 2.3 l of capacity, aided by a compressor, capable of delivering 140 hp and reaching 210 km/h… in 1927.

At this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, we were able to watch a Bugatti Type 35B climb its famous ramp, with Julian Majzub at his command, and today, just as before… always ready to race and to win — he really turned out to be the most fast in its class (Vintage Racer 1919-1930):
