Usually associated with the world of two wheels, since 2008 KTM has had a model with four wheels: the X-Bow. The target of several evolutions over the last few years, the Austrian sports car now has a new version called KTM X-Bow GTX.

Developed with the GT2 category in mind, the KTM X-Bow GTX is exclusively for the tracks and is the result of the joint work of KTM and Reiter Engineering.

Like the “normal” X-Bow, the X-Bow GTX will use an Audi engine. In this case it is a version of the 2.5 l turbo five-cylinder in-line, here with 600 hp . All this to boost an advertised weight of just 1000 kg. For the time being, any data relating to the performance of the X-Bow GTX are unknown.

Regarding this promising weight/power ratio, Hubert Trunkenpolz, member of the KTM board said: “In competition, it is necessary to focus on the development of a better weight/power ratio that allows you to be even faster with more efficient, affordable and small engines. volume".

When does it arrive and how much will it cost?

Still awaiting approval from the SRO, according to Hans Reiter, general director of KTM, the first 20 copies of the KTM X-Bow GTX should be ready later this year.
