The Koenigsegg One:1 is a “ballistic” car, with stratospheric numbers and exotic technology. Directly from the Geneva Motor Show for you, with a gallery of images and video that allow you to observe it from all angles.
The One:1 theme is nothing new in Ledger Car. We have already had the opportunity to detail such an extreme machine on previous occasions, with publication of all the details in a more exhaustive way. But the cloth was removed, and for the first time we were able to absorb all aspects of the Koenigsegg One:1 live and in color at the Geneva Motor Show.
In short, the focal point is its power-to-weight ratio of 1 kg per horse or «1000hp per ton», which is like saying 1000hp per ton, if we have Anglophone tendencies. It is this magical relationship that gives the name to One:1, or in Portuguese «one by one».
Just as a comparison exercise, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has around 1.7-1.8 kg/hp. It is also the first road car to have a Megawatt of power, which translating to equines gives 1341hp or 1360 of “our” horsepower. Simply… Mega! According to the brand, the One:1 weighs 1360 kg, with all the fluids in place and a fuel tank at half its capacity.
Overwhelming performances are to be expected, although they still need to be certified, which will allow confirming values announced as 20 “long” seconds, from 0 to… 400km/h! Simply overwhelming and difficult to have real perception of what they mean in practice.
It will be difficult to have access to a copy to savor, or better yet, terrify the experience of feeling such accelerating violence. Only 6 units will be produced and they are all sold. It is said that the price of each unit is estimated to be around a million and a half euros. Obscene! For the rest and common mortals, there are still images and video.
