Further developing and enabling Porsche to lead in digital mobility solutions is the new company's mission.

Porsche does not want to miss the "train" of the digital age and has announced the creation of a new center specializing in the digital area, Porsche Digital GmbH. A new company independent from the rest of the brand for the development of digital solutions for the brand's future models.

The new Director of Porsche Digital GmbH will be Thilo Koslowski, one of the most prominent people at Gartner Inc., a North American information technology consultancy. Thilo Koslowski was chosen for the position as he is considered an expert in the automotive and internet sector as well as in the areas of digital content and technology segments.

According to Dr. Wolfgang Porsche, Chairman of the Supervisory Board:

Porsche Digital GmbH will make our brand stronger, develop innovative customer experiences and attract new partners. We are combining the traditional Porsche spirit with the power of new technologies.

The newly founded company will have its headquarters in Ludwigsburg, near Stuttgart. Other facilities will be in Berlin (Germany), Silicon Valley (USA) and China.

The brand founded by Ferdinand Porsche not only believes in its potential to innovate, but also in the capacity of its partners. From now on, Porsche Digital GmbH will be the bridge between Porsche and the innovations that are emerging globally, and this applies in particular to areas of connectivity, mobility and autonomous vehicles.

As part of the digital transformation, the brand's new subsidiary will promote, in the long term, appropriate partnerships in order to create a digital ecosystem. There are also plans to participate in venture capital funds and start-ups that offer the opportunity to collaborate with innovative companies with strong growth, talent and new technologies.

The creation of the subsidiary is part of a huge brand innovation offensive. A joint effort is being made within the company to establish innovation management in all departments as well as systematic cataloging and promotion of ideas.
