Gumball 3000 is one of the most anticipated events of the year, not only for the machines that participate but also for the gigantic eccentricity that accompanies this rally.
Since 1999, thousands of people follow this madness annually. This year the organization decided to choose the USA to attract even more fanatics to this event… To get an idea of the magnitude of this parade of thousands of horses, each participant must pay 70,000$ (approximately €55,000) in registration and must be able to enter to the hard core of just 200 participants. This registration is used to pay for the stay for the 7 days of the event, food and the hottest parties.The race will extend across the entire North American country, starting in Manhattan and passing through Toronto (Canada), Detroit, St. Louis, Kansas, Santa Fe, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas to Los Angeles. We're not sure how many kilometers it will be, but a quick Google Maps search pointed to around 4,500 kilometers. If so and taking into account that each car spends at least 15 l/100 km, the expenses will not be around 70,000$…
