If you remember, before the current SEAT Mii, the Spanish brand had another city in its range, the SEAT Arosa. Produced between 1997 and 2004, this model was based on the Volkswagen Group's A00 platform, developed in parallel with the Lupo.

The Lupo even had a GTI version equipped with a 125 hp 1.6 liter atmospheric engine. It was a success at the time, but Arosa never got to know an equivalent version. But not even Lupo GTI would face this 350 hp SEAT Arosa of power. Yes, they read well.

The Germans from Turbotechnik decided to take the friendly SEAT Arosa and turn it into a machine for circuits. The original 50 hp 1.0 engine gave way to a 1.8 20VT block from an Ibiza Cupra. Not happy, they added a Garrett GT28R turbo and a larger fuel pump, intercooler and injectors.

The intake and exhaust systems also underwent the necessary changes, while the braking system was borrowed from the Audi S2.

Turbotechnik equipped the SEAT Arosa with semi-slick tires and took it to the Racepark Meppen circuit in Germany. The 350 hp of power proved to be enough to withstand the pace of sports from other championships:

It may not even have the most suitable chassis/suspension for this type of adventure on the track, but at just 840 kg in weight we have no doubts that this pocket-rocket is a hilarious machine for exploring the tight corners of this circuit.

But if it's just for the ride, the best thing is this SEAT Arosa 2.0 TDI, a 500 hp drag racing colossus.
