It is in this room that Lamborghini will “fine tune” the noise of its engines

The Sant’Agata Bolognese factory produces some of the most desirable sports cars on the planet – one of them, the Huracán, recently reached 8,000 units.

It is also no secret if we say that, in a model that costs a few hundred thousand euros, nothing is left to chance. The weight, the aerodynamics, the assembly of all the components… and not even the engine noise, something so important when we talk about sports cars (and not only).

It was precisely with the acoustics of its V8, V10 and V12 engines in mind that Lamborghini created a room dedicated to the symphony of each of its engines. This measure is part of the expansion project of the Sant’Agata Bolognese unit, which has recently grown from 5,000m² to 7,000m². According to the Italian brand:

“The acoustic test room allows us to adjust our auditory sensations to create a typical Lamborghini driving experience. The new installations also play an important role in the design of future prototypes and transmission systems”.

In the future, all Lamborghini production models will pass through this room, including the Italian brand's new SUV, the Urus (below). This means that in addition to being the most powerful and fastest SUV on the market, the Urus also promises to be the SUV with the best «symphony». Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until 2018 to clear up all the doubts.
