Preparing the new generation of Vanquish, Aston Martin intends, however, and this time, to make a different car — not properly focused, as before, on luxury, but, mainly, on performance!
According to Carscoop, the next Aston Martin Vanquish promises to be not only the fastest model in the brand's range, but also the one that will exhibit the best performance, within the segment of the most statutory GTs.
New Vanquish already has a definite rival — the Ferrari Superfast
With the new generation due to arrive later this year, the Gaydon manufacturer intends to compete directly with proposals like the Ferrari 812 Superfast. Thanks also to a greater aerodynamic component, marked, among other factors, by new and larger air intakes, a larger front grille than on the DB11, in addition to a whole series of solutions that should guarantee more downforce.
At the rear, the designers' option should go through lines very similar to those of the smallest Vantage, with an LED light strip across the car, in addition to the presence of a retractable rear spoiler.
The same engine as the DB11… but with 700 hp!
Finally, under the front bonnet, the new Vanquish should feature the same 5.2 liter twin turbo V12 as the DB11, albeit with increased power by around 100(!) hp — more precisely, a “fire capacity” of around 700 hp!
Aston Martin plans to make the new Vanquish known during the next summer, with its arrival on the market, most likely, during the month of September.
