Power. Do you remember the video we recorded behind the wheel of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63S 4 Doors? Well, someone thought that a saloon with 640 hp was not enough.
That someone is Poseidon, a German tuning company, which proposes a power upgrade for the Mercedes-AMG GT 63S 4 Doors for around 24,000 euros. In the end, you'll take home the 4.0 liter V8 twin-turbo engine with more 191 hp (830 hp) and 200 Nm (1 100 Nm) compared to the original values.
Thanks to these modifications, the already ballistic AMG GT manages to reach 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed in excess of 350 km/h.
The formula used to reach these values is the traditional one: the pair of turbos of the «hot V» engine received new components (to increase the pressure), the engine's cooling system was revised and the exhaust system received catalytic converters with less restrictions .

Naturally, the electronic engine management was not forgotten, in order to respect the new mechanics parameters. And even the module that controls the suspension's ground height has been reprogrammed to allow you to lower ground height even further.
The best news in all of this? This power kit for the Mercedes-AMG GT 63S 4 Doors will also be available for the Mercedes-AMG GT R — today's most radical Mercedes-AMG.
