The model now presented was a creation of Nissan itself, with the purpose of marking an important mark in sales of the electric, in Japan, since its launch in 2010 — nothing more, nothing less than 100,000 units delivered.

The presentation of this new and innovative variant of the well-known 100% electric model, which was given the name of Leaf Open Car, took place this Friday in Tokyo, during a meeting with about 100 personalities, in which the theme was addressed of the “non-emissions society”.

Presented at the last Beijing Motor Show last month, as the first 100% electric model to be marketed by Nissan in the country, it changes the name Leaf to Sylphy Zero Emissions.
