SEAT and Ducati, two Volkswagen Group brands, have signed an agreement for joint participation in the MotoGP World Championship. During the 2017 season, the new SEAT Leon Cupra – the fastest and most powerful model in the history of the Spanish brand – will be the official car of the Ducati Team, featuring three-time world champion Jorge Lorenzo and Italian Andrea Dovizioso.
In addition to the Leon Cupra's debut as the team's official vehicle, the agreement also includes the presence of the SEAT logo on the front of the Italian manufacturer's motorcycles, as well as on the riders' competition suits and on the uniforms of the other team members.

The MotoGP World Championship, due to start on March 23 in Qatar, comprises a total of 18 races in 15 different countries on four continents, and is expected to be followed by more than 2.6 million spectators on the world circuits.
