Alfa Romeo 4C doesn't stand out enough? Pogea Racing has the solution

Anonim

THE pogea racing needs no introduction — the German house has in the preparations of some Italian models its calling card, and the Alfa Romeo 4C has received all kinds of attention from its part.

The Pogea Racing Centurion is a small series of 10 units, based on the Alfa Romeo 4C — it was made known for the first time in 2015 — that raises the capabilities of the baby-supercar by adding horses that reduce acceleration times. , accompanied by a revised chassis and also a distinct look from the standard 4C.

The 1.75 engine sees its power increased to 313 hp, which only allows 3.9s to reach 100 km/h — in this copy, the Centurion 007 – The Green Arrow (green arrow), the power goes up a little more, up to 337 hp and the torque goes up from 350 Nm of the standard 4C to 465 Nm(!). Let's not forget that the 4C does not reach 1000 kg in weight, which justifies the acceleration values for a power that nowadays can be considered modest.

Among several highlights, this Centurion 007 features forged wheels — 18″ front and 19″ rear —, KW suspension with Pogea specifications and interior in Alcantara and leather (from Lamborghini).

Italian car, German preparer, paint... English

As for this Green Arrow, it is actually the second time it has passed through the hands of Pogea Racing. This 4C had been prepared before to be a Centurion. However, its owner felt that his machine did not stand out enough — his Centurion was white in color — when compared to other Centurions.

Pogea Racing accepted its customer's wishes and tried to repaint the car with something more exclusive. The preparer surprised him with a new four-layer Glasurit paint job by CDC-International GmbH.

The base color of this painting comes from the most unlikely of sources: it is the same green used in the new one. Aston Martin Vantage , the British sport. Several layers of pearl tones have been added to make the green color stand out even more, and the effect seems to have been achieved. But they didn't stop here...

The interior followed the exterior in the (extensive) application of this green — perfect for burning the retinas… — and even Pogea Racing claims that this “super-aggressive” combination will either delight us or make us “feel like throwing up” — there doesn't seem to be any way term.
