XXI Tertúlia Sportclasse: The Portuguese Automobile Industry in the 19th century

Anonim

The Sportclasse get-togethers return this November. The theme of this edition will be “The Portuguese Automobile Industry in the 19th century”.

Have you ever heard of the Portuguese Automobile Industry in the 19th century? So know that at the end of the 1800s, some Portuguese entrepreneurs tried to produce cars in Portugal, even building prototypes that carried out several test runs.

This will be the main topic of conversation at the XXI Tertúlia Sportclasse, which takes place on November 19 (Saturday) at Sportclasse, in Lisbon, and is once again organized by Ricardo Grilo. This time, the gathering will be moderated by Eng. Barros Rodrigues, historian and author of several books on the history of the automobile. Barros Rodrigues will introduce us to his last work and explain to us how close the Portuguese were to entering the new century, belonging to the restricted club of European construction countries.
