0-400-0 Km/h. Koenigsegg with a new world record on the way?

Just over a month ago, Bugatti had a world record of 0-400-0 km/h for the Chiron, with a time of 41.96 seconds, which was announced on the occasion of the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Now, Koenigsegg has posted a photo on its Facebook of what appears to be an Agera RS, launching the provocation that Chiron's previous record may be at stake.

The Swedish supercar brand, which already has several records to its name including the fastest lap to the Spa circuit, and the 0-300-0 km/h mark, among others, promises it will soon have a new record to announce.

Bugatti placed the Chiron in the hands of Colombian driver Juan Pablo Montoya to achieve a feat never before achieved. The next goal will be to break the world record for the fastest production car next year, beating his own record 438 km/h with the Veyron Super Sport in 2010.

It seems to us that Koenigsegg will not rest, and will continue to try to beat records with their hypercars, so be it!
