The MINI John Cooper Works Concept is a next-generation rocket

After the presentation of the next generation of MINI, the manufacturer took the opportunity to present the new generation of the small British “rocket”, the MINI John Cooper Works Concept, during the Detroit Motor Show.

We live in times of clear “unrest” in the manufacturer belonging to BMW. After introducing the world to what is the third generation of the MINI, a generation so far somewhat contested in large part due to the size of the bodywork, which, by the way, has little or nothing to do with the model name itself, the brand decided to show the next generation of the MINI John Cooper Works Concept, weeks after having released the official images of this same concept.

On the outside of the MINI John Cooper Works Concept, the usual “radical” changes needed to the acronym JCW stand out. Changes ranging from the more aggressive front and rear bumpers, painted in Bright Highways Gray with small details in red, sporty 18-inch alloy wheels, to changes made to the interior.

MINI does not reveal yet which engine is under the hood of this small “pocket-rocket”, which is usual at these events by several manufacturers, but in the production version it should use the current 218 hp turbocharged 2 liter block , probably with slight changes. In the meantime, we will be updating the information and images of this MINI John Cooper Works Concept in the next few days.
