Fiat Chrysler Automobiles intends to make Alfa Romeo even more competitive.

In the last official document, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles revealed the strategic plan for Alfa Romeo until 2020. The main objective is to recover the sporting spirit and position Alfa Romeo as a premium brand on a global level. For this, the brand intends to reinforce its range with six new vehicles for different segments, between 2017 and 2020.

In addition to the launch of the first SUV in its history – Alfa Romeo Stelvio – which could happen later this year, the Italian brand has plans to produce a four-door saloon, a new hatchback – which could succeed the current “Giulietta” – and two new SUV's. In addition, Alfa Romeo is planning two new models – which it dubbed “Specialty” – whose details are still scarce.

All these models should focus on markets in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, USA, Canada and Mexico, and if all goes as planned, they will be launched by 2020.
