Can you imagine what it's like to surpass the 500km/h barrier in a matter of seconds? The dragster in this video is in the Top Fuel category and, therefore, uses a high combustion fuel that allows it to reach up to 8,000 horsepower and travel 400 meters in less than 5 seconds. The top speed could reach 530 km/h (the dragster in the video reached 508 km/h in 3.77 seconds). The images were recorded at the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park circuit, in the United States. The premise was quite simple for drag racer Shawn Langdon: first you heat up the tires, then you gain grip and, finally, you invest in reflexes and the accelerator pedal.
Very similar to the car they have in the garage, no?
