The GLA range starts the year with a renewed interior and exterior look and even an update of the equipment lines.
First introduced to the public in 2013, the Mercedes-Benz GLA reinforced the Stuttgart brand's SUV range – today comprising seven models (GLA, GLC, GLC Coupé, GLE, GLE Coupé, GLS and G) – and which is one of the most complete among premium manufacturers.
Therefore, it is with high expectations that Mercedes-Benz renews its compact SUV, which is now halfway through its life cycle. From the outside, the new model is a kind of breath of fresh air compared to its predecessor, thanks to an integrated set of grille, headlamps and redesigned bumpers. In this way, the Mercedes-Benz GLA intends to gain an even greater presence and a body with a more expressive design.
Inside, the equipment is what attracts the most attention. A 360-degree camera allows you to record the area surrounding the vehicle, which is displayed in a single image or divided into seven different perspectives on the eight-inch multimedia screen.
For the rest, and because we are talking about a premium segment, finishes and build quality are another priority, and in this regard, the GLA stands out for its chrome accents, new analogue instruments with red pointers and the rims of the ventilation outlets more accentuated.

The new Exclusive package has been reinforced with seats in black leather, aluminum trim with trapezoidal grain, poplar wood in light brown and walnut wood in brown. The former Exclusive package with standard sports seats is still available as an option.
Another new feature is the package night , which can also be combined with the Style range and includes 18-inch bicolor alloy wheels, radiator sipes in gloss black, black roof rails and moldings in gloss black, lower front and rear bumpers and exterior mirrors in glossy black.
The particularly sporty set of equipment is reserved for the more powerful version Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 4MATIC . The new design of the front bumper with air intake grilles and the roof spoiler allow, according to the German brand, to improve driving stability by reducing aerodynamic resistance – the drag coefficient of 0.33 is lower than that of its predecessor.
To celebrate the success of its sports models, Mercedes-AMG has prepared an exclusive edition Yellow Night Edition (top), available for the A 45 4MATIC, CLA 45 4MATIC, CLA 45 4MATIC Shooting Brake and GLA 45 4MATIC. These models can be painted in Night black or Cosmos black and combine exclusive sections of matt graphite gray and yellow for an even more distinctive look, reinforced by matte black alloy wheels with yellow rims and the double AMG grille lamella radiator painted black, among other details in this color scheme.
