After leaving rallying and racing in rallycross and Dakar with Peugeot, Loeb decided to return to the sport that made him famous (this is not the first time he has done it) and asserted himself in front of the competition on the controls of a Citroën C3 WRC as if proving that who knows, he never forgets.
With the victory achieved in Catalunya, the French driver achieved the 79th victory of his career in the WRC (with his faithful co-driver Daniel Elena always at his side), five years after having won for the last time. Along the way, it gave Citroën its first victory this year and also the brand's 99th victory in the rally world. With the end of Peugeot's involvement in the Dakar and rallycross, it's a case of saying: come back Séb, rallies need you!
