We went to Spain to see the renovated Volkswagen Polo GTI and there was still time to take a ride in a Volkswagen Polo G40.
People say that “from Spain neither good wind nor good marriage”. Is not true. The winds of Razão Automóvel blew beautifully towards Valencia, where we had the opportunity to prove on the circuit the happy marriage between the renewed Volkswagen Polo GTI and the new 192hp 1.8 TSI engine.

The Volkswagen Polo GTI only hits the market in February 2015, but Volkswagen didn't let us wait and put us on a plane towards Valencia, where its new pocket-rocket was waiting for us. During the brief moments we spent with the Volkswagen Polo GTI on the Ricardo Tormo Valencian Community Circuit, it was possible to see the improvements made by the German brand.
At the top of the modifications is the new 1.8 TSI four-cylinder engine with 192 horsepower, which allows the smallest sports car of the German house to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. Second, the XDS+ electronic differential significantly increases the forward axle's ability to progress. Also the suspensions, shock absorbers and steering were revised.
