With the label of being the best alternative to the Volkswagen Jetta, the future Volkswagen Golf CC has as main objective to make the delight of those looking for the elegance of the Jetta but in a more… compacted way?!
Inspired by the Passat CC and with the characteristic lines of the current Golf, the Golf CC clearly comes to make life hell for the Mercedes CLA – curiously, some rumors pointed to a four-door coupé, however, in the image we see only two doors. The question that remains is: is this the final version? Maybe not…
Like the Golf, the Golf CC will be based on the MQB platform, however, this coupe is to be expected to have a longer length than the best-selling C-segment. Under the hood we can expect a 1.4 liter turbo TFSi with 120 hp and a 2.0 liter TDi with 150 hp. Volkswagen will also be able to offer a GTi version, a 2.0 liter TFSi four-cylinder that will be ready to develop 220hp and 350Nm of torque.
The Volkswagen Golf CC is expected to be launched only in 2015.
