Second-generation Nissan Leaf can now be ordered

The Nissan Leaf was the first series-production 100% electric car and is also the symbol of Nissan's Intelligent Mobility.

The newly unveiled second-generation model now starts production at the European plant in Sunderland, UK, with deliveries to customers starting in February.

After the limited launch version, called Leaf 2.ZERO, in Portugal the Nissan Leaf will be available in four equipment versions: Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna.

At entry level, Visia, the Leaf will be available for 31 800 euros , and already includes the following equipment:

• Intelligent Frontal Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Emergency Braking

• Audible warning for pedestrians (with deactivation option)

• LED daytime running lights and taillights

• Rear view mirrors in body color, heated, automatically adjustable

• 7″ TFT screen and analogue speedometer

• Automatic air conditioning with timer

• Front and rear electric windows

• Folding rear seats (60/40)

• 2.3 kW charging cable (Shuko outlet)

• 6.6 kW Mode 3 charging cable

• Normal load (2.3 kW – 10A, 3.6 kW – 16A and 6.6 kW – 32A)

• Fast Charge (50 kW Fast Charge Outlet)

The next level, the N-Connecta, is available for 33 250 euros and it includes, among many other equipment, the Nissan ProPILOT autonomous driving system, which we talked about here during the national presentation of the model.

At the top of the range is the Tekna version, which, for 35 250 euros, adds the BOSE® audio system with seven loudspeakers, self-adjusting automatic LED headlamps, “Follow me Home” system, heated leather steering wheel and heated leather front and rear seats and, as an option, Nissan ProPILOT autonomous car park.

With one 378 km range (NEDC cycle) the new Nissan Leaf announces 20% more acceleration, 38% more power, and 20% less... noise.

In Portugal, it is possible to charge, through the CHAdeMO fast charging network, 80% of the battery of the new Nissan Leaf in just 40 minutes.

The new Nissan Leaf is now available for ordering at the entire Nissan dealer network in Portugal.
