The South Korean brand has just unveiled the first images of the new generation of the Hyundai i30.

Developed and tested in Europe, the new Hyundai i30 presents itself as a core model for the South Korean brand, and therefore, the opposite is a significant evolution across the line, from the range of engines – which promises to be more efficient – to technology and exterior design. And speaking of design, the images shared by Hyundai are revealing of what's to come: redesigned headlamps, wider front grille and a more premium and sophisticated overall look.

“When it comes to design, we didn't just take into account one client, but a range of different people. This model is an evolution of the design language of the Hyundai with lines naturallymostfluids, refined surfaces and a sculpted bodywork to create a timeless look.”

Peter Schreyer, responsible for design at Hyundai and Kia.

In addition to the five-door version and the estate variant (SW), the new Hyundai i30 will have for the first time a sport version (N Performance), which by all appearances will be equipped with a 2.0 turbo engine with more than 260hp, manual gearbox six-speed and self-locking differential, accompanied by an improved chassis.

The Hyundai i30 will be presented in Europe on the next 7th of September, three weeks before making itself known at the Paris Motor Show.
