Unveiled just over a month ago at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the new Audi A3 Cabriolet has already started production at Audi's factory in Gyor, Hungary.

For now, Audi is only accepting orders from European consumers, however, the new Audi A3 Cabriolet will only reach owners in 2014.

The Hungarian factory, which produces 125,000 vehicles annually, also produces the new A3 Limousine and will in the future build the new generation of the Audi TT, both in the coupé and roadster versions.

As everyone knows, the new A3 is based on the MQB modular platform, making it bigger and wider than its predecessor. These changes caused a decrease of about 50 kg, which allowed an improvement in the car's behavior, consumption and CO2 emissions. Ledger Automobile has already tested the new Audi A3, you can see it here.
