Audi has already started marketing the new Audi A3 Limousine in Portugal. All the qualities we know about the brand's other saloons, but in scale, call it the mini-A4.
The Audi A3 Limousine started its commercial journey in Portugal last week. For now only available in versions equipped with the 2.0 TDI engine with 150hp, and petrol variants with the 1.4 TFSI engine with 140hp and 1.8 with 180hp.
The most desired by corporate and private fleets is the 1.6 TDI with 105hp, equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox and is available for delivery only in December. The new 110hp version of the well-known 1.6 TDI will first arrive in the Sportback version by the end of the year, but should only be available on the Audi A3 Limousine during 2014, still without an official date disclosed.
A model on which SIVA has high hopes. The importer believes that the Audi A3 Limousine may come to rival the Sportback (5-door) version of the A3 in terms of sales volume.
The brand believes that the mix of youthful and premium appearance with the body shape may be of interest to a wide range of customers. On the one hand, young couples who want a family of moderate dimensions without giving up values such as exclusivity and design. And on the other, companies, which in times of reduced budget for fleets, can have this model as an option to take into account, without major losses in terms of image. We are talking about five thousand euros less for, for example, an Audi A4 with compatible engine and equipment.
