Mercedes has already confirmed that the new BlueEFFICIENCY edition for the Mercedes A-Class is really a step forward…

Designed to attract more “Eco” buyers, this model is distinguished by small changes to the grille and rounded LED daytime running lights. This «peace green» also saw its aerodynamics slightly improved and some changes were made to the suspension, ending up being lowered by 1.5 cm.

For this edition there will be two engines available, the A180 BE with a 1.6 liter 122 hp petrol engine and an A180 CDi BE with a 1.5 liter 109 hp engine. For the gasoline engine an average consumption of 5.2 l/100 km and 120 g/km of CO2 is expected, while for the Diesel version, we can count on an average consumption of 3.6 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 92 g/km, figures that make this Mercedes the most economical Mercedes ever – who would have thought, that the most economical Mercedes ever would be Powerd by Renault…

This new BlueEFFICIENCY edition of the Mercedes Class A will start to be sold in February, however the first deliveries will only take place in March.
