Across the entire range of engines available, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been reduced by an average of 17% compared to the predecessor model. For the first time in the SUV segment, Mercedes-Benz offers a hybrid PLUG-IN version, the GLE 500e 4MATIC, which combines maximum efficiency with exceptional performance.
This PLUG-IN version of the new Mercedes-Benz GLE has lower consumption values compared to the most efficient model in the range, the GLE 250 d, however it provides performance at the level of a V8 engine. The new GLE is now available for order with the first units arriving in Portugal in September 2015.
