Seat Leon ST Cupra: Dressed to Impress

Anonim

The Seat Leon ST Cupra will be one of the highlights of the Spanish brand at the Geneva Motor Show. So don't be surprised if you see this “mother” strolling through Helvetic lands with showy clothes (read orange wheels).

When it hits the market, the Seat Leon ST Cupra will be the most powerful family member ever sold by the Spanish brand, thanks to the 2.0 TSI engine that produces 265hp in the «normal» version and 280hp in the Cupra 280 version.

In the case of the Cupra 280 version, the engine's technical specifications translate into a sprint from 0-100km/h in 6 seconds when associated with the DSG gearbox, and 6.1 seconds when associated with the six-speed manual gearbox. The standard version of 265hp (less 15hp) loses just 0.1 seconds, compared to the respective Cupra 280 version. Both versions reach a maximum speed of 250km/h (electronically limited).

For those looking for even more dynamic sharpness, Seat offers an optional Perfomance Pack, which includes high-performance four-piston Brembo brakes, 370 x 32 mm perforated "super disc" and exclusive 19-inch wheels equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres.

Those opting for the Cupra 280 version will also be able to customize the logos present on the bodywork in different colours. Stay with the image gallery:
