Bugatti Bolide is the most beautiful hypercar in the world. Do you agree?

First introduced about a year ago, still as a prototype, the Bugatti Bolide left us shocked by its extreme and minimalist design, focused on aerodynamic performance, and its (almost) unbelievable numbers. And apparently we weren't the only ones, as this has just been considered the most beautiful hypercar in the world.

Yes that's right! Bolide was recognized at the 36th Automobile International Festival in Paris, one of the most important design competitions in the world. At the event, a jury composed of professional designers chose the model of the “house” in Molsheim as the most beautiful among all hypercars.

Limited to just 40 copies, the Bugatti Bolide will be exclusive to circuits — there will be specific track-day events organized by Bugatti — and it doesn't hit the market until 2024. The cost of each unit? 4 million euros.

1600 hp and only 1450 kg

Equipped with the 8.0 W16 tetraturbo engine, the only engine to power the 19th century Bugatti. XXI, the Bolide will have a weight (with fluids) of only 1450 kg, which allows it to “offer” a weight/power ratio of 0.9 kg/hp.

Described by Stephan Winkelmann, president of Bugatti, as “the ultimate machine for the track”, the Bolide promises a “parade” of impressive numbers. But for now, we have to be content with the records announced by the prototype that will serve as its base: 0 to 300 km/h in 7.37s and 0-400 km/h-0 in 24.14s (the Chiron does the same in 42s).

In the first "computer" simulations, Bolide would be able to complete the Nürburgring track in just 5min23.1s, which clearly shows the "monster" that Bugatti is creating here. Now, all that's left is to see him on the “road”, or rather, on the track!
