The Audi Summit in Barcelona is less than two weeks away. It is there that the new generation of the Audi A8 will be presented, on the 11th of next month. In anticipation of the grand premiere, Audi joined the launch of the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming, the new blockbuster from Marvel that opened yesterday in American cinemas.
And of course, two of the film's protagonists – Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark) and Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan) – arrived on the red carpet to ride a model of the rings brand, the Audi R8 Spyder V10. But the high point of the afternoon was reserved for the German top of the range.
Under the bonnet of the Audi A8 was the movie's big star, in "flesh and blood", who shared the spotlight with the German executive:
About the car itself, the new model showed itself in Los Angeles completely camouflaged (a very sui generis camouflage…). Still, the images give you an idea of how the new A8 will be designed, especially in the rear section, where the LED light beam runs horizontally across the trunk.
For the rest, we will be able to count on the most advanced technological package ever in an Audi model, higher levels of habitability and structural rigidity compared to its predecessor and a new 48-volt electrical system. To get to know the Audi A8 in detail, we'll even have to wait until the 11th.
