Prince of Saudi Arabia acquires two exclusive Bugatti prototypes

The Bugatti Chiron presented in Geneva and the Bugatti Chiron Vision Gran Turismo are the two new machines in Prince Badr bin Saud's private collection.

Grandson of the late King Abdullah, Prince Badr bin Saud is a self-confessed enthusiast of the automobile world, in particular of exotic sports cars (why doesn't that surprise us…). According to Bugatti, Badr bin Saud was the one who presented the highest bid for the two models, although the value has not been revealed.

The Bugatti Chiron in question is a prototype presented at the last Geneva Motor Show – the first deliveries have not yet started – which served to show the lines of the brand's new super sports car, despite being functional and practically a final version. As for the Vision Gran Turismo, it is a prototype presented at the last Frankfurt Motor Show, purpose-developed for the 15th anniversary of the Gran Turismo game.

In the phase of promoting the new Chiron, the French brand will show both sports at the Monterey Car Week, which runs from 15 to 21 August, while the Vision Gran Turismo will also be at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on the 21st.
