Volkswagen has just presented the first images of the Tiguan Allspace, the “long” version of the Tiguan that we already know.
Volkswagen believes that between the «normal» Tiguan (which measures 4.49 meters) and the Volkswagen Touareg (which measures 4.8 meters) there is room for another alternative in the range.From this perception was born the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, which, as the name implies, is a model that emphasizes space. More specifically, the space to accommodate seven passengers and their luggage.

This model will be officially presented in January, at the Detroit Motor Show, and arrives in Portugal in the second half of next year.
Like the Tiguan we already know, Tiguan AllSpace is also based on the MQB platform. This model measures 4.70 meters in length and has 2.79 meters of wheelbase (21 cm and 11 cm more than the regular Tiguan, respectively).
These exterior shares are reflected in an additional 44% of luggage space. When it comes to engines, it is to be expected the adoption of the mechanics already known in the Tiguan range, with the exception of versions with less than 150 hp for obvious reasons.
