Audi presented a new 4-cylinder 2.0 TFSI engine with 190 hp at the Automotive Engineering Symposium in Vienna. According to Audi this will be the most efficient 2 liters on the market.
When only talking about downsizing and 3-cylinder engines, Audi presents a new proposal without reductions in size or cylinders, which will equip the next generation of the Audi A4.

This new 2.0 TFSI engine has 190 hp and delivers 320 Nm at 1400 rpm. The engine will be a featherweight 140kg and will receive the latest fuel-saving technologies, including a significant reduction in the time required for the engine to reach the ideal operating temperature.
Audi hopes to obtain, with the new 2.0 TFSI of 190 hp, consumption of less than 5l/100 km in the next Audi A4. The reduced CO2 emissions promise to make this proposal a real alternative for petrolheads who do not need the services of the 2.0 TDI engine with 190 hp.
The next generation Audi A4 is scheduled for release later this year and will use the MLB Evo platform. This platform was introduced on the Audi Sport Quattro Concept and its flexibility allows it to be applied to various models such as the upcoming Audi Q7.
