According to Underground Racing, driving an Audi R8 V10 Plus with one of these kits is “something that should be experienced, not explained”.
Too much power, a concept that doesn't exist for Underground Racing. Known for preparing some of the most powerful Lamborghinis today, this preparer decided this time to dedicate itself to a model from Ingolstadt: the Audi R8 V10 Plus, a model that uses the same engine as the Lamborghini Huracán (a 5.2 liter V10 FSI, capable of deliver 610 hp of power and 560 Nm of maximum torque). The most basic power kit costs “only” 44 thousand euros, and adds +200 hp to the Audi R8 V10 Plus. With the second kit from the preparer – which costs approximately 53 thousand euros – the sports car will start to debit 900 hp, if it uses competition fuel. In the third kit, the choice of power is wider: for approximately 62,000 euros, Underground Racing guarantees that your Audi R8 delivers more than 850 hp (with 95 octane gasoline) or 1000 hp (with racing fuel) . To deliver 1250 hp, the V10 engine has to undergo some changes – as we can see in the images – and the value rises to 89 thousand euros. All these power kits have one feature in common: they allow you to continue using your car on a day-to-day basis, without any problems, while maintaining high reliability levels.
However, for those who definitely want something special, Underground Racing has reserved an extreme kit, where the engine power rises to 2200 hp that transforms the Audi R8 into a drag racing monster. With the exception of the block, almost everything is changed in the 5.2 V10 engine. Price? On request.
