The "rocket man" sports saloon will be auctioned off next March in England.
Reginald Dwight – better known as Elton John – is one of the most highly regarded British musicians, and it seems that he also has a secret passion: the automobile. From a Ford Escort GT to a Ferrari 412, Elton John has had pretty much everything. The Italian sports car, equipped with a 4.2 liter V8 engine, comes equipped with all the standard equipment and also a DVD player, games console and remote control. Furthermore, the Maserati Quattroporte has only 45,000 km covered.
“This is a great opportunity to buy an excellent example of exotic Italian design”, commented Arwel Richards, representative of the event organizer, Classic Car Auctions. The auction will take place on March 19 at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre, England.
