Aston Martin Vulcan is already on the road... at least one.

Anonim

Designed and marketed by Aston Martin as a proposal not only hyper-exclusive, but also for use only and only on track, there is, however, at least one Aston Martin Vulcan, which can now circulate on public roads. It is the unit transformed and approved by the British competition car preparer RML Group… but unfortunately, it already has an owner!

A model of which only 24 units were produced, which, although fully paid and owned, are (?) under the responsibility of Aston Martin — it is the brand that maintains them and takes care of transporting them, to any circuit around the globe, where the respective owners wish to “take a walk”. The truth is, this particular unit seems to have had quite different luck. Right away, because its owner decided to ask the RML Group to “transform” the super sports car, so that it could be homologated for the road!

Vulcan with new suspension… and “Wingdicators”

Once the process of transformation and adaptation to the road regulations was concluded, the final result — it was recorded in a video that we show you here — ended up being a Vulcan with several peculiarities. Among which, innovative turn signal lights placed on the huge rear wing, which the preparer named “Wingdicators”, as well as a new suspension that allows the car to be raised by around 30 millimeters. Important even for those heights when we come across humps that, aboard this Aston Martin Vulcan, must look like mountains.

For the rest, and keeping practically all the attributes of the original Vulcan, namely, the distinctive rear lights and the many aerodynamic appendages, this specific unit still registers changes in the interior, namely, through the introduction of new, more comfortable seats. Principle, moreover, applied equally to the rest of the cabin.

In the engine, do not touch!

On the contrary, the 7.0 liter V12 engine, whose maximum power remained at 831 hp, remained untouched. Because, what's good, don't move!

Remember that the Aston Martin was officially unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, although it only started being delivered to the first customers almost two years later, in early 2017.
