“This multi-year agreement with Honda marks the beginning of an exciting new phase in Aston Martin Red Bull Racing's efforts to strive not just for grand prix victories but for what has always been our true goal: the champion title”, says the general director of Red Bull Racing.
Also according to the same responsible, Red Bull Racing has been observing the evolution that Honda has been making in F1, since replacing, at the beginning of this season, McLaren, as engine supplier for Toro Rosso, the second Red Bull team at the Formula 1 World Championship.
“We are impressed with the committed way in which Honda has been involved in F1”, says Horner, guaranteeing that he is “wanted to start working” with the Japanese manufacturer.

In the meantime, despite the agreement now announced, which makes Red Bull Racing and Honda partners in the F1 World Championship, Toro Rosso will also continue to work with the Japanese manufacturer.
