Christian von Koenigsegg doesn't stop. In the coming months two goals: to present a 1.6 liter engine with more than 400hp and to beat the Nürburgring record.

Ambitious about the future of the brand, Christian von Koenigsegg, founder of the brand of the same name, revealed that he wants to return to Inferno Verde with the One:1 to beat the record for the fastest production car on the German circuit. The founder of the Swedish brand also wants to soon launch a small 1.6-litre four-cylinder block with more than 400hp (highlighted: Koenigsegg CC V8 engine).

Christian von Koenigsegg, founder and CEO of the Swedish brand, stated that:

We are working on a 1.6 liter engine, with Qoros, which will have the capacity to deliver 400 hp or more. The same principles with which we designed the Agera and Regera engines can easily be applied to these smaller engines.

Christian also believes that the development and potential of heat engines is not exhausted and that there are still many paths and solutions to evolve.
